Interview on custom motorcycles in Singapore
We shared some thoughts on the custom motorcycling scene in Singapore in an Awe50me interview here. Do check it out as it talks about how we started to rebuild classic motorcycles and our dreams of $1 COE for motorcycles.
Hoping for a biker in the government may be a long shot, but there is no denying that Singaporeans today are getting much more vocal and hungry for change. Perhaps the time is now right to put the custom motorcycling lifestyle in the positive light, instead of always getting ourselves suppressed by authorities with their overstated dangers of 'illegal modifications' and obsolete regulations.

Gone were the throttle-happy, mullet wearing lot in baggy jeans... Today's retro riders are way more conscious of safety and grooming than in the 70s. Our passion for motorcycles is all about celebrating the culture and art of customizing our rides. Why should we be criminalized for that?
PS: The photo of us in riding leathers is not exactly how we look everyday... we look better (and slimmer) in person... and no, we are not related to that leather wearing dude from the park.

Film Screening @ Chye Seng Huat Hardware
Yesterday we screened the two short films made by our talented friends Juffrie and Ivan. The event is held at Chye Seng Huat Hardware (CSHH). Don't let the name fool you as CSHH is a very cool coffee bar discreetly situated at the 'somewhat' industrial estate of 150 Tyrwhitt Road (near Lavender).
Over 40 friends came and we totally dig the support. Thank you. As for why we did this on a Friday, it is because we needed the whole Saturday to work on our project bike for the November show at the Rabbit's Hole. Being a work day, this had probably affected the turn out. Thankfully, the evening was dry and we had a great evening chilling out.
If you have missed the screening, you must have also missed the very rare Ducati MH900 parked at the alley. Well, at least some experiences can be repeated... here are the vids:

Project: Honda VLX400 Steed
With the custom parts arriving from Japan, this is a good time to strip the steed down to touch up the frame. Lots of exciting plans for this bike as it will be showcased in an event coming up next month. Stay tuned for more updates!
